Titanic: A Cruise of Classes with the first-class passengers.

The film took place when Jack, a poor third-class artist, won a ticket and was given the chance to board the famous ship named Titanic. In the first days, he had been able to spend his time on the ship, experiencing the luxury and benefits of the ship until one day, he saw a beautiful young woman trying to commit suicide. He saved her by stopping her from committing suicide. The woman was named Rose Dewitt Bukater and explained herself. Moments after, Rose slipped, once again Jack saves her but in return the woman screams causing a scene on the ship which resulted to Caledon Hockley, Rose's fiancé, to come. With a quick glance of Jack by Cal, he uttered the word "filth". He then invited Jack to dinner with the first-class passengers. note:Smile - Siehst du es auch

After the party, Jack invited Rose to come with him to a party where she was spied on by Cal's manservant. The following day, Ruth, Rose's mother, forbid her to see Jack again. Knowing this, Jack had to talk to Rose but when the opportunity came, Rose ignored Jack and continued with her mother and Cal. After realizing the selfish acts of her mother and horrible attitude of her fiancé, Rose could not stop herself from seeing Jack again. They shared their first kiss, Jack drew a portrait of Rose, and everything was going smooth that night until the ship came across an iceberg. This iceberg caused the ship to be sunk along with its passengers. note:Don't Worry Darling

However, even with the ship's condition, Cal would still go through with his plan by planting a very expensive necklace in Jack's jacket resulting to Jack being arrested. The crew members, did their jobs and escorted people onto the life boats. They prioritized women and children first and later on those who were in first class. While water had already penetrated the ship, Jack was still tied up on the lower part of the ship. Rose, however, refused to jump in the lifeboat without Jack. She attempted to rescue him in which she eventually did. As the film progresses, Jack and Rose remain aboard the ship until it sunk. After that, only one lifeboat came in order to search for any survivors. Though a lifeboat came, it was however, too late for Jack and countless others who had frozen to death. With the flashlight shining near Rose, She swam to a near body and took its whistle to signal the boat she was still alive. Rose continued to live a long life and even share this miraculous story with others. note:Im Westen nichts Neues

In my point of view, this movie showed a difference in social classes. A difference in which those of first class feel they are far more superior that those in lower classes. As said in the movie, Caledon Hockley, at the first sight of Jack Dawson, called him "filth" as a sign of Social classes being discriminated. Another example in which discrimination was shown was when Jack was being escorted out of the First-class room where Rose and her mother was having lunch. Numerous scenes was shown in which portrayed the superiority of being a first class person. Scenes like; The boarding of the Titanic, Room assignments of different classes, prioritization of the lifeboats and especially how Jack Dawson was treated on the ship.  note:Die Schule der magischen Tiere
